A new year for EARTH WEAVERS
Welcome to a new cycle, a new season, another year for EARTH WEAVERS.
This year we are welcoming many new members, volunteers, crafters and hosts. We have so many exciting things emerging!
We are hosting workshops in new locations: Copenhagen and Havegård.
We just upgraded your membership, to not only give access to one workshop a month - but many workshops each month.
The workshops each month will be connected by theme, material or craft. This month we are knitting. We had a beautiful wild knitting workshop in Skovhaven - where participants learned to knit without a pattern, and on March 13, we have a workshop in "Dogmestrik" in Copenhagen, knitting directly from raw wool. Next up, we will make paper and bind books, and we keep updating with more workshops emerging, so keep yourself up to date through this newsletter, the Wheel of the Year and upcoming workshops.
Make sure to mark your calendar on March 20 - when we will celebrate Spring Equinox on Havegård. We will have a feast, sow seeds, share garden dreams and have a saunagus.
This year we also have local community crafters and hosts inviting us into their own spaces / studios for workshops – more about that soon!
We are also updating our systems, to make it easier for you to register for a workshop. We have already implemented it for the upcoming workshops - check it out.
We are also building an online marketplace for handmade, local and sustainable products. We are creating a community online shop that brings together all the beautiful things our members are making – in one place. As a member you can list your works and sell them directly - making it so much easier to find local and ethical things online.
We also just created and presented our finished logo - which brings such fulfillment and sensation of completion.
Each year we make a handbook for our members to navigate in the programme and here it is – you can also find it in the Portal
